Our Graphical User Interface, Your Alignment Guide
Our patented icon- and app-based, and color-coded user interface, GuideU, makes it easy to measure, align, and document each job. In order to minimize the risk of operator errors, we developed an adaptive user interface for the FIXTURLASER EXO system. It guides the user throughout the job in logical and easy-to-follow steps. It will deliver measurement and correction values based on what the system finds during the alignment process.
This eliminates confusion for less-experienced users and provides ease of access throughout a measurement with the FIXTURLASER EXO system. To add to the enhanced user experience, we have given the interface a game-like 3D graphic look facilitating the unmistakable interpretation of any misalignment error.
Our icon-driven, language-free alignment systems produce measurement reports easily understood by all users, regardless of their language.
Vertizontal Moves
Measure Once, Move in Two Directions
The VertiZontal Moves™ feature displays exactly how much a misaligned machine needs to be adjusted and in which direction, by adding or removing shims to the machine’s feet. No more re-measuring between the vertical and the horizontal phases to correct the horizontal misalignment.
This industry-first function saves time and ensures accuracy the first time around. Time savings mean cost savings for the maintenance department, the production department. In short, savings for the entire company.

OmniView
The graphical user interface is shown off on a 6,5” transreflective display screen with icons and symbols to guide you, in other words, no text is involved.
The adaptive user interface will guide you throughout the measurement and alignment process.
We have fitted the NXA Pro with gyros and can, therefore, adapt the screen view from the same side that the user is positioned – our OmniView™ function, i.e. the system knows where it is in relation to the machine.
VertiZontal Moves
The adaptive user interface will guide you throughout the measurement and alignment process. We are especially proud of the function – VertiZontal Moves™ – where you only have to measure once before making the required vertical and horizontal adjustments. Quite a time conserver in a time-strained maintenance world!
Power management system
The NXA Pro has a power management system that will make your life so much easier! The display unit has a 10 hour continuous battery operating time, and should the need arise during an alignment job; the display unit can be express charged to an 80% capacity in one hour. The sensor units will last for 24 hours minimum thanks to the long-life batteries.
Time-saving technology
The NXA Pro’s sensor units have graduated to the 2nd generation sensor. This sensor version improves the tolerance for detrimental external factors, such as vibrations and ambient light, and delivers the most accurate and precise measurement values compared to any other system. Measurement values are automatically registered throughout the entire measurement process. We have integrated line laser with the sensor and this combination virtually eliminates rough alignment, a huge time saver.
Very compact, only 33,5 mm in width, the sensor units will fit in the tightest spots. The sensor units contain long-life batteries, Bluetooth communication, and gyroscopes. The gyroscopes make it possible to measure according to the Tripoint Method in the vertical shaft alignment application, something that no other shaft alignment instrument is capable of!

Ultimate Measurement Tool for Optimal Operation Conditions
With a mix of shaft alignment and geometry applications, you are safeguarding your machinery’s operation condition. Regular maintenance checks or installations of new machinery, you have what you need in the NXA Ultimate.
Machine foundations need to be checked for any flatness faults, before the machine is actually installed, hence the flatness application. And once installed, the machine’s alignment status must be measured. With everything verified to be perfectly aligned, you can also ensure the machinery’s optimal operation conditions.
Shaft alignment
The NXA Ultimate comes with technology enabling functions and capabilities, which in many cases are industry firsts, for example:
- CCD detectors with ultra high definition resolution.
- New sensor units with Bluetooth incorporated are the industry’s most compact, yet, they feature a 30 mm detector surface and line lasers.
- The OmniView™ feature keeps track of the position of both the user and the machine to show the screen display from the user’s perspective, thanks to the built-in gyroscope (6-axis MEMS Inertial Motion Sensor) in the display unit.
- Ability to keep track of the position of the sensors in both the vertical and horizontal orientation, and any inclination in-between, when performing a shaft alignment, thanks to the built-in gyroscope in the sensor units. Hence, you are then able to perform a shaft alignment on vertically mounted machines where it is not possible to do a 180° shaft rotation.
- Excellent power management – 10 hours on one charge.

Acoem’s laser-based geometry system is characterized by its user-friendliness and versatility, such as:
- The graphic user interface is intuitive and 3D animated, with icons and color-coded symbols to guide you throughout the measurement and alignment process.
- Live values during measurement and simultaneous live adjustment, in both vertical and horizontal orientation (X and Y values), during the adjustment process.
- Measurement results in micron resolution.
- Post-measurement evaluation means that you can process saved measurement results in order to choose the best reference. This will result in as few corrections as possible.

Adaptive User Interface with the VertiZontal Moves™
Acoem has developed an adaptive user interface, i.e. a user interface that actually tells you what to do based on your measurement results. With the VertiZontal Moves™ feature, we have brought to you one of the most innovative and time-saving features in the shaft alignment world.
The adaptive user interface shows how much a misaligned machine requires to be adjusted by adding or removing shims at the machine’s feet. When proceeding with the measurement, you no longer need to remeasure inbetween the vertical and the horizontal adjustment during the adjustment process.

The shaft alignment system has a large 5.7", bright colour display that clearly shows all the steps of the measurement. The measuring units have TruePSD-technology, which gives unlimited resolution. Twin laser beams, twin PSDs and twin inclinometers give you superb control of the measurement in all situations. The measuring units are incredibly compact featuring Bluetooth® Wireless technology, an integrated rechargeable battery and large 30 mm TruePSD detectors. This means that they are easy to install on most types of machines, even where there is limited space. The wireless technology gives you full freedom of movement around the machine that is to be aligned. Display unit, measuring units and fixtures are all very robust for the highest accuracy in demanding industrial environments.
It is possible to connect two very useful accessories to the system. With Vibrometer E285 it is possible to check the vibration level and bearing condition of the machine. Using E170 BTA you can check and align sheaves and pulleys with digital precision. You can document the measurements for vibration checks and belt alignment in the same way as for the normal shaft alignment programs. There is also a wide range of accessory brackets, such as magnet bases, axial magnet brackets and brackets for non-rotating shafts. The transportation case is equipped with recessed compartments for the accessories, which means that you can carry everything in one case. With the barcode reader the user can save many key operations where all machine dimensions, tolerances and compensation values are entered in one single operation, and the measurement can be started directly. At the first measurement, save the downloaded machine data and attach the barcode label to the machine. The barcode reader is an accessory.

The alignment and geometric applications programs that are included in the Fixturlaser XA Ultimate, complement each other. Properly aligned machine starts at the time of its installation, e.g. with checking that the machine foundation is flat before the machine is installed upon it. If the machine foundation is skewed or warped in any way, that will influence the machine's capability to function.
