Ground Penetrating Radar
Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) is a geophysical method that uses radar pulses to image the subsurface. It is a non-intrusive method of surveying the sub-surface to investigate underground utilities such as concrete, asphalt, metals, pipes, cables or masonry.
The Radiodetection LMX200 Portable Ground Penetrating Radar System provides an exceptional balance of depth penetration up to 8m/26ft and extremely high resolution. Offering a detailed picture of an underground infrastructure, with it's user-friendly and intuitive interface the LMX200 is ideal for accurately locating buried assets. Consisting of a patented ultra-wideband (UWB) 250 MHz GPR antenna and dynamic target enhancement (DynaT), the built-in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is designed to optimise discovering buried utilities. What sets the LMX200 apart from other GPR systems is the inclusion of advanced features such as depth slice imaging and in-field interpretations. Easy to master, simply press start and push the cart while the hyperbola-fitting ensures accurate measurements displaying both location and depth.
MALÅ Easy Locator Core is a state of the art, high quality, intelligent ground penetrating radar for utility locating professionals. MALÅ Easy Locator Core includes real-time interpretation support through MALÅ AI; wireless data collection using mobile devices; cloud storage, post-processing and on-site reporting using MALÅ Vision Cloud Software.
The Quantum Imager is the first true triple frequency range GPR system ever produced. The antenna emits three separate signals simultaneously, allowing the user to survey significantly greater depths with higher resolution than any other locating technology without sacrificing middle frequencies which are ideal for locating targets like buried utilities. Stepped ultra wideband pulses combine the advantages of pulse radar and stepped frequency radar for unsurpassed resolution and depth.
The Palm Antenna offers users the ability to reach tightly spaced areas that were previously inaccessible such as corners, against walls and around obstructions. The antenna includes a dedicated survey wheel, a replaceable skid plate, and removable handle to reduce antenna height, if necessary. The Palm Antenna is compatible with the SIR 4000 and SIR 30 control units.
